The City Council, through its Parks and Gardens service, under the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, is carrying out pruning work on different trees located in sports centers in the municipality of Murcia, which means that Generate more than 30,000 kilos of pruning annually.

The technicians, belonging to the STV / Actúa concessionaire, review and prune a total of 1,172 copies, specifically tipuanas, mulberry trees and elms.
These actions are carried out constantly and complying with all current regulations on the subject of signaling and prevention of occupational hazards.
The collection of branches reaches an average of 30,000 kilos per year.
Among the places where a greater number of these trees are concentrated are the soccer fields of Puebla de Soto, La Alberca or Guadalupe, among others.
In addition to the aforementioned copies, the STV / Actúa concessionary company remembers that, although this pruning is carried out annually, it works throughout the year, whenever necessary, in the different sports facilities of the municipality of Murcia.
These tasks are carried out once the current mulberry pruning campaign in Murcia and districts has been completed, always following a scheduled calendar of procedures.
For Felipe Coello, "it is a priority that our sports facilities remain in perfect condition, both inside and outside, as the green areas contribute to the improvement of our health and facilitate the practice of physical exercise."
