The Parish of San Francisco de Asís (Murcia) has hosted the ecumenical prayer ceremony held in the framework of the XIX International Charity and Volunteer Conference of the UCAM, and in which different bishops and representatives of Christian denominations have participated.
"We have had various Christian confessions and we have prayed together for the unity and development of the peoples. For all that Pope Francis is asking us for," said Antonio Alcaraz, Vice Chancellor of University Extension.
In addition, in the Temple of the Monastery of Los Jerónimos different round tables have been held that have been attended by various associations and NGOs to discuss exclusion, inclusion policies and social action in the Region of Murcia, as well as to expose the actions being carried out by the participating institutions in this area.
On the other hand, tomorrow, Saturday 29, the XIX International Charity and Volunteer Conference will end with the II International Folklore Exhibition, which will take place at Santa Joaquina de Vedruna School at 7:00 p.m., as well as the International Volunteer Exhibition that has been exposed throughout the week in the Paseo de Alfonso X.
