The University of Murcia celebrates this Friday, February 21, the First International Conference on the Visibility of Hate Speech and its Impact on the Digital Ecosystem, which will analyze the different aspects of a problem that is reflected on a daily basis in social networks.
The conference will take place in the classroom of the Faculty of Communication and Documentation from 9.30 am
The conferences, which are held in order to favor academic reflection on this phenomenon, are organized by the University of Murcia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy of the Region of Murcia.
Through the different round tables, meeting points between academics and social groups will be favored so that there is an exchange of experiences and contributes to raising awareness about this phenomenon.
Among the speakers there will be researchers from the universities of Cairo, Salamanca, Autónoma de Madrid, along with teachers from the University of Murcia.
Representatives of different social groups will also participate.
