The Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, Jos Guilln, has attended this morning the general assembly of the Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI) in Logroo, an association that promotes the economic and efficient management of urban infrastructure and services through a system based on innovation and information and communication technologies.

RECI allows the exchange of knowledge between smart cities through various actions and activities aimed at the development of the business and labor sector of municipal environments.
Its activities include the formation of working groups and experts, the holding of conferences, the sharing of projects through a common technology transfer platform, as well as the application of collective intelligence techniques and technologies that involve Citizens in urban development.

Smart City MiMurcia
The involvement of the City Council in RECI is part of the Smart City Strategic Plan through the MiMurcia project.
It is a smart city model, based on participation, citizen care, open government, sustainable mobility and urban quality, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development goals.
Among the components of Murcia Smart Ciy, the TuMurcia application stands out, which allows citizens to notify any type of incident to the City Council, or the artificial intelligence project Rosi, which is a chatbot or virtual assistant that will answer the doubts of the citizens
There is also a map of incidents online or the development and integration of a Dashboard, which graphically shows the indicators of the evolution of demand and consumption of the city, the multipoint information system that will allow to know all the points of electrical supply of buildings and municipal facilities.
All this will be managed from CEUS (Single Monitoring Center), the nerve center of the smart city that will be located in the Abenarabi building in Murcia and will have a control room and crisis room, from which you can view the municipality as a whole in emergency situations.
