The cycle 'Sound the Organs' will return this February to be held in different areas of the city of Murcia by the hand of prominent interpreters both regional, national and international scene.
The Merklin Association of Friends of the Organ of the Region of Murcia organizes this free cycle that takes place throughout the year in the different organs that are in the municipality of Murcia.
Specifically, the program is planned to be held every month, with the objective that there is always a quality musical offer and that the organs that are currently available can be known, heard and appreciated.
Thus, the next appointment will be on February 20.
Gustav Auzinger will be the organist in charge of the recital of ancient music that will take place in the church San Juan de Dios.
The Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, highlights the importance of events like these, “because in this way attention is given to and gives life to the other organs of the city at the same time that we bring people closer to music and the instruments of each neighborhood. ”
In this cycle, organs of the Murcia Cathedral, Church of San Miguel, the Dominican Convent of Murcia de Santa Ana, the Church of Santa Eulalia, Virgen de la Huerta, San Juan de Dios and El Carmen stand out.
