Cabezo de Torres prepares to celebrate his most popular party, the Carnival, whose poster for this edition has been drawn up by Petrus Borgia and Sofia Tornero.
The Association of the Carnival of Cabezo de Torres has commissioned the design of the poster to these artists "for their active and continuous presence in the art world both in the Region and outside it, as well as for the originality and variability in their works and contents ".
According to the artists themselves, in this work they wanted to "represent the idea that carnival, in addition to being an event for joy, pleasure and transgression, can also be for the meeting, understanding and tolerance. The character above look elegantly at everyone who accompanies her in this way of thinking. But also with her ironic and critical gaze she rebukes those who do not, so that they pass by her side: that of achieving a really better world. "
Borgia and Tornero are linked to the Cabezo de Torres as they run 'La Casa de Cristal', a large exhibition space with great artistic, musical and scenographic artistic activity, both own and external.
The program of this year's Carnival will start tomorrow with the gala dinner of choice of the Musa and the Muso del Carnaval, which will be held at 9.30 pm at the Mesón La Torre.
Two of the new features of this year's program, which will be presented soon, are that the proclamation will be held for the first time at a party that will take place in Promenade on Friday, February 21 and that a pet costume contest will take place on saturday 29
