The City Council, through the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government, led by Mercedes Bernabé, will hold next Monday the second sectorial table of the diagnosis for the development of the local strategy of Circular Economy of the municipality.
This process will be used to identify actions in the field of circular economy by concessionaires, companies and other associations in order to look for opportunities and detect barriers to their development.
“Public participation turns out to be an indispensable element for the correct development and implementation of initiatives that affect the future of our city.
That is why we convene the second sectorial table to gather the opinion of public concessionaires, companies and other entities that carry out circular economy initiatives, â€explains Mercedes Bernabé.
This process, which will be energized by CETENMA, is carried out simultaneously with the third phase, already initiated, of identification of circular economy initiatives in the municipality.
The municipal table will be held on February 3, from 10 am to 1 pm in the Moneo Building.
Throughout this meeting, the main weaknesses, threats, strengths and opportunities for the implementation of circular economy initiatives will be identified and a series of key questions for the effective implementation of these initiatives will be raised through dynamization techniques.
This table is preceded by the first, which was attended by municipal technicians on November 4.
The next one will be on February 17 with experts, sector entities, as well as professional colleges and researchers and teachers in the academic field.
The councilor advances that to date they have already confirmed their attendance more than 25 entities.
