The Plenary Hall has received this morning the awards ceremony of the contest 'Draw your Bethlehem', organized by the Association of Belenistas of Murcia.

The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, along with the Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, the Councilor for Education and Childhood Schools, Belén López, and the president of the Association of Belenistas of Murcia, María José Esteban, delivered this tomorrow of the prizes of the contest 'Draw your Bethlehem' in the Plenary Hall, in which more than one hundred students of first, second and third grade of Primary, from La Arboleja, La Albatalía and Espinardo have participated.
"My congratulations to the Association of Belenistas for celebrating this contest for the second consecutive year and to all the schoolchildren who have participated, promoting and preserving one of the oldest and most beloved traditions of our municipality," said the mayor of Murcia.
Specifically, the centers that have participated are the public school of La Arboleja;
the Puente Doñana educational center, of La Albatalía, and the Pedro Pérez Abadía school, in Espinardo.
Christmas-themed prizes
This morning, 22 first prizes were awarded to the award-winning schoolchildren - a diploma and a small clay sculpture that reflects the Birth - and 21 second prizes - a diploma and a small Christmas-themed figure.
All students who have not been awarded have received a diploma for their participation.
