The first deputy mayor, Mario Gómez, has requested a meeting with the Minister of Development, José Ramón Díez de Revenga, to address the immediate execution of the road safety improvement and firm reinforcement works at RM-E4, Camino de Los Soldados, a road that connects the neighboring municipality of Alcantarilla with the West Industrial Estate, in the districts of San Ginés and El Palmar.
"These are works, budgeted at more than 1.3 million euros that have not yet been executed, despite the fact that the regional government announced it in February 2019," said Mario Gomez.
In this regard, he recalled that "the action consists in reinforcing the firm of the entire road, almost 3,000 meters long, in addition to rearranging the entrances of the adjoining streets, construction of a T-shaped intersection, two deflector islands and two roundabouts at the current intersections with regional roads.
