From the Education Service of the City of Murcia Paco Damas will hold a “Concert for Peace and Gender Equality†within the section “Making Citizenship of the Educational Offer†with the Hastag # MurciaMiCiudadEnseña
The objective is to share with the students and teachers a playful and social act, appreciating and valuing music as a source of communication and opening of borders, as well as sensitizing all chic @ s about different behaviors that facilitate coexistence and prevent violence between equals in the school environment.
In this case, the recipients will be the teachers and students of 3rd and 4th ESO and Baccalaureate of schools in the Municipality of Murcia.
The concert will be eminently playful for Peace and Gender Equality "Women of Soul and Verse" using texts by forgotten poets of Spanish Literature, where musicians and students interact on stage.
To this end, the Fact Sheet, the verses, a link to watch the video will be sent in advance, so that the teachers work before the concert and select those students who are most suitable to participate in their reading;
However, half an hour before starting it, the selected students will perform a rehearsal with the vocalist and the rest of the musicians on stage, to find out when each one of the selected participants takes part.
The rest of the students will interact with the musicians and their classmates, making them participate in some of the musical and poetic fragments.
"Women of Soul and Verses" is a journey through the music and poetic reading of universal authors of literature where Paco Damas sings Concha Méndez, María Zambrano, Zenobia Camprubí, Rosalia de Castro, Alfonsina Storni interspersed with poetic reading by of the students.
