The VI conference 'An Education for the 21st Century' begins this Thursday with a lecture by naturalist Joaquín Araujo under the title 'The educational system and the climate catastrophe'.
It will be at 20.45 in the Paraninfo of the University of Murcia, on the campus of La Merced.
These days, whose complete program was presented this Wednesday at the University of Murcia, has the collaboration of the teaching institution and is organized by the association of retired teachers 'Future of Education Region of Murcia'.
Until next March 26, more than 180 activities will be carried out in 18 municipalities in the Region of Murcia and that will have climate change as their main theme.
The presentations and workshops on educational innovation will also be a central part of these conferences.
In addition to conferences and workshops, the University of Murcia will host, within the framework of these conferences, the Course on Educational Experiences and Innovation, which will be held from February 14 to 15 at the Faculty of Education.
