The Catholic University of Murcia has graduated 400 students in Havana (Cuba), within the framework of the local community development project 'The Cuban Currency: Training Program for Young People', in which UCAM participates through the training that He teaches these students.
The students, who enroll in the Catholic University of Murcia, have received the training of a course in University Technician in Cooking and Gastronomy, where they are prepared in what would be the equivalent in Cuba to a Vocational Training.
Antonio Alcaraz López, Vice Chancellor of University Extension, affirms that for two years students are given a basic preparation to enter the labor market in the tourism, gastronomy, hotels, travel sector, in order to find a job .
"For the next course there are already about 1600 students enrolled," concludes Antonio Alcaraz.
