The Catholic University of Murcia has signed today a collaboration agreement with the Official College of Nursing of the Region of Murcia in order to offer training and hold events and conferences in this area.
This signature is framed within the Year of Nursing, designated by the World Health Organization, the UN and the International Nursing Council.
During the session, Manuel García Sánchez, president of the Nursing College, was present, who affirms that this agreement is the continuation of a collaboration agreement between the institution he chairs and the UCAM.
In addition, he declares that this is a very special year for the sector, but states that, "in the School we are working hard every year, nationally and in the Region of Murcia, to give visibility to the role that nurses play."
On the part of the University, Paloma Echevarría Pérez, dean of the Faculty of Nursing, states that, "this year we are going to hold a series of events in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Official College of Nursing of the Region of Murcia, to give visibility and strength to Nursing as a key element of health development. "
