The Language Service of the University of Murcia (SIDI) has achieved the renewal of the accreditation of the Cervantes Institute for teaching Spanish.
Since 2013, the Language Service has undergone a thorough evaluation every three years in different areas: academic activity and teaching quality;
facilities and equipment;
administrative organization and information and publicity.
On this occasion, in addition, the improvement plan established during the 2016 process has been evaluated. After examining the services, all areas have received a favorable evaluation, so the accreditation contract has been renewed until 2022.
It is the only international accreditation of schools for teaching Spanish as a foreign language and implies a commitment to quality and continuous improvement in all areas related to its activity.
The University of Murcia teaches Spanish courses for foreigners from the initial level A1 to C1.
In addition, specific training is also carried out for the preparation of the level accreditation exams of the Cervantes Institute.
In addition, in collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes, the Language Service organizes courses aimed at university graduates or students in the last year of qualifications related to the teaching of languages ​​who wish to improve their knowledge and train in the different areas of teaching Spanish to students Foreign.
