The University of Murcia and the Red Chamber have signed a collaboration agreement on Friday for the production of photography exhibitions in calls for the 'Action Author' program and within the scope of the UMU Photography Prize, as well as for the joint implementation of photographic training courses.
David Flores, co-director and owner of The Red Chamber, said that "through our fine art laboratory, and thanks to the collaboration of the University of Murcia, we have carried out 'Action Author', a program of production aid for the exhibition of photographic projects and series whose purpose is to enhance the creative capacity of emerging authors in the world of photography. "
These grants consist of the production of photographic works that will later be exhibited in the Black Box space of the UMU's Rectorate and in the gallery of the Red Chamber.
Regarding photographic training, Silvia Martínez, co-director of The Red Chamber, also stressed that "the UMU is the best ally and partner we can have to promote photographic training courses."
For his part, Rector Luján has expressed his gratitude to the Red Chamber for the mutual enrichment that agreements like this entail for the promotion of teaching and the promotion of photography.
