The new rainwater network that will prevent flooding in the Mirador de Agridulce will come into operation next spring (02/01/2020)

The project for the contracting of the works of the new rainwater network project in the Mirador de Agridulce urbanization has already been awarded in order to minimize the effects of heavy rains, which will allow it to come into operation next spring

Thus, a new rainwater collection network will be created on María Goyri Street, running through Miguel de Unamuno, Pío Baroja Avenue and Ramón y Cajal Street, with a junction point to the existing network in the Casa del Aire Crossing.

This driving will be approximately 725 meters long

During the execution of the works in the streets and intersections affected by the tracing of the projected axis, the appropriate measures will be adopted in order to guarantee the correct transit of vehicles, and allow the maintenance of the traffic senses and changes of direction in the measure of the possible.

To do this, crossings will be conveniently signaled, making detours or alternative paths, depending on the possibilities, for paths that cannot be maintained.

Likewise, appropriate measures will be provided to give perfect continuity to road and pedestrian traffic at the intersections with the affected road, through the provision of standardized crosswalks and their convenient signaling.

The City Council will invest in this project, which will be carried out by the commercial Construcciones y Excavaciones Sánchez López in a period of two months, 137,248 euros.
