The history of the clock
The bell of the clock of the City council has its origin in 1940. With a weight of 80 kilos, in 2006 the hammers that hit the bell stopped being used, after the installation of a digital musical chime.
Last year the old hammers were recovered, replenishing the springs and improving their loudness.
To make it a perfect night also this year, the company Tradition in Clocks and Bells is supervising and tuning the Town Hall clock days before.
