The Governing Board has approved today the project for contracting, through a simplified open procedure of the works related to the reordering of the connection of the exit branch 136 of the A-30 with the Madrid road and the Severo Ochoa avenue in the accesses from the Espinardo campus and the El Tiro industrial estate in Murcia.
The amount of the project, which amounts to a total of 510,035 euros and will have a term of execution of five months from the start of the works, will avoid the traffic jams between the entrance to the university city and the exit to the Madrid road from the A -30
Likewise, access to thousands of vehicles that have to reach this entrance will be facilitated to access the industrial estates in the area, the Los Rectores urbanization and the shopping center located at that point.
It is a work very demanded by users and members of the educational community that may be completed in September 2020, in view of the beginning of the new university course.
