The councilor of Pedanías y Barrios, Marco Antonio Fernández, and the Councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé, today presided over the act of taking possession of two new lawyers of the City of Murcia.
Amalia Saorín Poveda and Immaculate Salas Monteagudo are the civil servants who have just been appointed legal advisors to the Murcian council.
"Among its functions are the representation and defense of the City Council in all types of legal proceedings, legal advice to the mayor, government board and other municipal bodies," explains Marco Antonio Fernández.
The new lawyers were interim officials of the City Council and had been performing such functions for years, having now obtained their place of consolidation by free shift corresponding to the 2015 Employment Offer.
"As responsible for these competences, I want to congratulate the new lawyers for this appointment, but also for the position they have been carrying out for years with professionalism and complete dedication," said Mercedes Bernabé.
Currently, 16 officials make up the Legal Service of the City of Murcia, of which eight lawyers, seven auxiliaries and an ordinance.
Other charges
Five programmer analysts and a diploma in Physical Education have also taken possession this morning for internal promotion during an act chaired by the councilor of Pedanías y Barrios, Marco Antonio Fernández.
Antonio Francisco Martínez Lucas, Francisco Javier Martínez Márquez, Álvaro Lloret Rodríguez, Mariano González Miguel and Prudencio Lorca García are the new analysts who have taken office, as Carlos Argudo Fuentes is the official in Physical Education.
