The workshops will begin at 5:00 p.m. and then at 6:00 p.m., three recitals will be held by the Christ Crucified Villa Pilar and San Buenaventura choirs and two students from the Murcia music conservatory.
School visits have continued today with Espinardo students, who have participated in origami activities and Christmas decorations.
"We want children to live Christmas from the heart of the city, that they learn our traditions and imbue themselves with the spirit of these intimate parties," said Councilman José Guillén.
More than 120 cultural events, including concerts, dance, Christmas workshops and activities for the little ones, make up the program of the great Christmas Tree, located in the Circular Square, from tomorrow, December 13, until January 4.

The program will officially start tomorrow with a wide variety of workshops, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Murcia and visitors can plant a tree, make their own Christmas decorations and participate in the space of Terra Natura, where children can make crafts of different types.
Starting at 6:00 p.m., live music will begin with the hand of the Christ Crucified Villa Pilar Choir, followed by Ariadna Sofía E. and Clara B., students of the Murcia Conservatory of Music, and finally, the San Buenaventura Choir will offer a varied recital for all attendees.
School visits
The City Council, through the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, directed by José Guillén, invites the students of the municipality to participate in the workshops and activities scheduled in the great Christmas Tree, located in the Plaza Circular.
Thus, more than 1,600 schoolchildren, from 20 educational centers in the municipality, are expected to go through this facility until December 20.
Yesterday was the school of La Raya and today it was the turn of the students of Espinardo.
The schoolchildren have participated in the origami workshops and have made Christmas decorations.
In addition, they have had the opportunity to plant a tree, write their letter to the Magi and deposit it in the Royal Mailbox.
Activities for the whole family
The program includes a hundred free workshops for the whole family, which will be held from tomorrow, December 13, until January 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
'Atelier Ornaments for your Tree', 'Plant your Christmas Tree', 'Sew your Christmas Sock', 'Create your Christmas hat', 'Prepare your Cotillion', 'Terra Christmas Crafts' and 'Mini Christmas Chef' of Terra Natura ;
'Mini Chef: Fruit tartlets' and 'Mini Chef: Roscón de Reyes' of the Hospitality School of the City of Murcia, as well as 'Mini Chef: Mantecados Murcia' and 'Mini Chef: Christmas Rolls' of the Cultural Association of Chiefs of the Region of Murcia (JECOMUR) are some of the activities of the program.
Solidarity point
During the next weeks, the Tree will have a Paje Real Solidarity Point, where children who wish may donate their toys for the enjoyment of other children in the municipality.
In return, they will receive chocolate doubloons (more than 50,000).
A Royal Mailbox has also been enabled, in which they can deliver their letters.
