The Museum of the City will host this evening, at 7.30 pm, the inauguration of 'The nativity scene'.
This initiative will allow pedestrians to see on the facade the figures of the nativity scene by José Nicolás Almansa that is preserved in the museum.
This light intervention, with backlit vinyl, will be shown every evening after 6 pm.
Thus, on the central balcony you can see the main motif of the nativity scene, the Birth that, for this occasion has been arranged in such a way that it emphasizes its baroque style.
On the upper balconies the scene of the Magi appears, while on the lower balconies the 'Elder with basket of eggs' and some worshipers are shown.
The Bethlehem by José Nicolás Almansa, shown on the first and second floor of the City Museum, is a recreation of the Bethlehem of Salzillo and was made in 1950 with prolicromado cooked clay.
