The Autonomous Community allows the construction in the municipality of Murcia of 52 new homes that will be destined for rent for families and vulnerable groups, thanks to the help of the Housing Plan of the Region of Murcia 2018-2021 .. Specifically, they represent a investment of 3,713,634 euros, of which the Community has covered 270,894 euros.
The Director General of Housing, José Francisco Lajara, highlighted "the commitment of the regional government to expand the housing stock for rent in Murcia and facilitate access especially to young people and people in situations of vulnerability."
Of the 52 new homes financed by the Community, 12 of them have been promoted by the City of Murcia and another 40 by private developers.
Lajara, together with the Councilor for Elderly, Disability and Development Cooperation, Francisca Pérez, presented this initiative and explained that “the Housing Plan allocates aid to the developers of these homes with the obligation to allocate them for rent for a minimum period of 25 years and with a limit price, depending on their useful surface â€.
