The Department of Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism maintains its collaboration, through the signing of new agreements, with the Abraham, Red Cross and Famdif / Cocemfe Project Association for the promotion and promotion of labor insertion and training of people with disabilities and of groups at risk or social exclusion.
Abraham project
Specifically, the agreement that will be signed with the Abraham Project is intended to establish the basis of collaboration between the Consistory, through its Employment Service and this association, in order to carry out different training and employment activities for people at risk and / or social exclusion.
In this way, the Abraham Project Association develops the Atelier El Costurerico project aimed at facilitating the reintegration into the working world of garment professionals who are in a situation of vulnerability, having hired 7 women.
For the development of this agreement, the City Council will grant financial assistance in the amount of 7,900 euros.
Red Cross
For its part, the second of the agreements, which will be signed with the Red Cross for an amount of 20,546 euros, aims to improve the employability of the unemployed and with special difficulties to access the labor market, with the aim of improving their integration possibilities through their labor insertion.
The European Commission, through the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, has designated the Red Cross as the beneficiary body for the development of the Operational Programs of Social Inclusion and Social Economy (POISES) and Youth Employment (POEJ), whose aims are to improve employability and promote access to the labor market for people in social difficulty.
In this line, the City of Murcia collaborates by co-financing the following specific programs: 'Active Inclusion: Comprehensive itineraries with people of difficult insertion', with an amount of 11,158 euros of the total expenditure amounting to 189,063 euros;
and 'Bridges towards employment: Itineraries for equality', aimed at the labor insertion of women in situations of vulnerability or risk of exclusion, with an amount of 9,387 euros of the total expenditure amounting to 90,054 euros.
Famdif / Cocemfe
The last of the agreements, for an amount of 6,000 euros, will be signed with Famdif / Cocemfe for the implementation of actions that promote access to the workplace for people with physical and / or organic disabilities and improve their level of training .
For this, an information system will be enabled that facilitates bidirectional knowledge of the actions promoted by the parties, with the aim of achieving the labor insertion of the largest possible number of people with disabilities, promoting and defending their living conditions until they reach their full social integration.
With this last agreement, highlighted the mayor of Employment and Economic Promotion, Pedro García Rex, "the real comparison of this group of people with other citizens is pursued. It is essential that the principle of equality before the law and defense of their rights in all areas of life. "
