The Government Board has approved the award of the works to install a roof on the existing sports court in the courtyard of the school of Puebla de Soto.
Thanks to this action, the students of the center will be able to use these facilities at any time of the year, starting next spring.
The uncovered sports court, in which students practice different sport modalities such as futsal, basketball, minibasket and volleyball, cannot be used on rainy or excessive heat days.
Therefore, the 725 square meter roof will be provided to the courtyard of this school, which will prevent rainwater from entering and provide shade in such a way that it can be used every day of the year.
The solution adopted is based on a structural design adapted to sports surfaces that will allow the installation of an architecture that combines aesthetics, attractiveness and functionality.
The investment of these works amounts to 187,429 euros, the execution period being 3 months
This project is part of the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, which coordinates the Department of Pedanías y Barrios, which is directed by Marco Antonio Fernández.
