The Councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé, today inaugurated a new edition of the conference 'We talk about Europe', which are held until next Friday at the Faculty of Labor Sciences, in the Espinardo Campus.
In this way, the City of Murcia and the University of Murcia offer Murcia the opportunity to contribute to the creation of future employment and economic promotion policies.
"These days are a space for debate and reflection, citizen participation actions with which we contribute to joint progress in areas that are within our reach and affect everyone," said Councilor Mercedes Bernabé.
The conference will take place during various outdoor work sessions and in a playful environment in order to favor participation and spontaneity.
The meeting raises six different dimensions to promote the collaboration of the university community.
Thus, the themes deal with labor relations, employment in rural areas, smart cities, the local dimension of employment policies or labor mobility.
Participants can register through the page Hablamosdeeuropa.observalocal.com to each of the work tables or at the point of attention located in the Faculty of Labor Sciences.
“The City of Murcia already has several success stories to affirm that citizen participation is present and future, as well as the strategy to make Murcia a better and more transparent city,†concludes the mayor.
These conferences are organized by the City of Murcia and the University of Murcia, together with the collaboration of the Rural and Local Observatory and the Faculty of Labor Sciences.
