Four municipal operators have worked this morning on the planting of these winter flowers, the color of which is very similar to violet.

Four municipal operators have worked this morning to plant these winter flowers, whose color is very similar to violet, in the central parterre, next to the fountain of this square.
"With this gesture, we record our social commitment to this fight, against any act that threatens the dignity of women," said the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, who added that "we defend a fair and egalitarian society."
Workers have planted more than 300 bluebells and more than 100 units of wild cabbage, of the genus 'brassica oleracea violaceous'.
Music, theater and poetry for the Plenary Hall
To commemorate this day, the City of Murcia has also hosted an institutional event in the Plenary Hall, in which the prize 'Murcia in Equality' was awarded for the first time to a victim who has been treated by the municipal Attention Team Violence against Women and that has overcome its situation, representing all those women who receive support from this service.
Music and lyrics also gained special prominence during the event, since the act was opened by a cello musical performance and closed by a theatrical performance at La Glorieta.
Also, during the event a poetry recital was held accompanied by live guitar.
