This week from November 25 to 29, the Faculty of Labor Sciences of the University of Murcia will become the center of a reflection process that will contribute to the design of the Urban Agenda.
This consultation is the second one carried out at the Faculty of Labor Sciences of the University of Murcia, in collaboration with the City of Murcia and the Observatory of Rural, Local and Employment Development, which are working together to design a space for debate on an area as relevant as the Urban Agenda.
For this, a series of working groups have been created in which the citizens themselves will address some of the most relevant issues for the future of employment and economic promotion policies.
The local dimension of employment policies, worker mobility, employment in rural areas, the capacity to transform the Smart City labor market, the new phenomena of precariousness and vulnerability or the desirability of a unified regulatory framework in the field of labor law will be some of the issues that will guide the participation of citizens.
To make the debate more agile, researchers from the University of Murcia have prepared a series of materials in which, through work documents and posters, the situation of each of the dimensions will be reflected in an intuitive and dynamic way proposals.
In this way, the role of the experts will focus solely on promoting dialogue and moderating the session, establishing the word shifts and compiling the proposals and conclusions, so that the citizens themselves will be the protagonists of the consultation without any interference .
The workspaces will be developed outdoors and in a playful and casual environment to favor participation and spontaneity.
Those interested in participating can register in the working groups that are available on the page Hablamosdeeuropa.observalocal.com
One of the great innovations of the Citizen Consultations is that the results of this process will be integrated into the conclusions of the participatory process of the Urban Agenda of Murcia, so that participants have the real opportunity to build, from their own position as citizens to the policies that will affect us in the future.
