Several monuments and spaces of the city of Murcia are illuminated in blue on the occasion of the Universal Children's Day that is commemorated today, November 20.

Specifically, the Moneo Building, the Almudí Palace, the Alfonso X promenade and Murcia Río will be illuminated to raise awareness about the Universal Day of the Rights of the Child.

The City Council, through the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, thus responds to the call of UNICEF to illuminate some of the municipal buildings with the aim of giving visibility to this day, which this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
