The Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, presented this morning the First Gang Meeting of Santiago and Zaraiche in which five groups from Murcia, Lorca, Las Torres de Cotillas, Almería and Albacete will participate.
In this new activity, which will be held on December 8 in the Santiago Apostle square of the village, attendees can enjoy the songs, music and dances of the Zaraiche Gang, Grandmother Santa Ana de Albacete, Gang of Towers of Cotillas, gang of Chirivel de Almería and Auroros de Lorca
"The crews represent the essence of Murcia, as it is a cultural exhibition that has its roots in past centuries but today remains more alive than ever in our city and districts thanks to initiatives like this," said Pacheco.
The day will begin at 9 am with a breakfast with the crews.
At 10.30 a Mass will take place and at 12 hours the different groups will act.
Finally, at 2:30 p.m., a coexistence meal will be held.
