In little more than a week the Garden of the Malecon will become the scene of a new popular event.
This will be the case on Saturday, November 16, on the occasion of the “Race for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics: Run without resistance”, organized by the University of Murcia through its Sports Service, with the support of the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS), within the National Plan against Antibiotic Resistance, as well as the City of Murcia.
So it will be from 10: 00h., On an approximate distance of 5km., Also developing children's races.
An appointment that was presented this Thursday at the City of Murcia, with the presence among others of the Councilor for Sports and Health José Felipe Coello, along with the Vice Chancellor of Students and Services to the University Community of the UMU, Paloma Sobrado;
José Carlos Vicente, General Director of Public Health and Addictions of the CARM;
Elisa Escudero, secretary of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the UMU, in addition to representatives of the faculties of Veterinary, Biology, Nursing, Tourism, the company Hefame and various Professional Associations.
The registration period for the test is still open, through Alcanza Tu Meta (http://www.alcanzatumeta.es/inscripcionp1.php?id=510579) until November 14 or until the enrollment limit is reached, for a cost of only € 2.
The numbers may be collected on the day of the test in the departure area, from 8:00 am to 9:50 am, reminding you of the obligation to show the ID or identity document for collection.
There will be trophies for the first three classified of the general, as well as for the first three in each established category, both in the male and female section.
The first three classified in the categories of children's tests will have a medal.
