José Ballesta attended the opening of this Fair, promoted by the City Council and the Murcia Commercial Area Federation (Femuac), in which more than twenty Murcia businesses participate, with sales of up to 50%.
It will remain open until this Saturday every morning, from 10 am to 2 pm, and in the afternoon, from 5 pm to 10 pm.
The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, accompanied by the Councilor for Commerce, Markets and Public Road, Juan Fernando Hernández, attended this morning the opening of the first edition of the Discounts Fair, which hosts the Avenida de La Libertad, in the that more than twenty Murcia businesses from different sectors are participating with succulent offers and sales.
"This is an event that aims to consolidate itself as an annual fair, giving momentum and support to the small Murcian business and revitalizing this sector," said José Ballesta, who added that "from today, Murcia and visitors can visit the different stalls to Saturday".
The Fair, promoted by the City of Murcia in collaboration with the Federation Murcia Commercial Area (Femuac), has offers that revolve around 30% and 50% discount.
Specifically, it will remain open until Saturday, in the morning, from 10 am to 2 pm, and in the afternoon, from 5 pm to 10 pm.
Free makeup service and activities for the whole family
A tent with free makeup and hairdressing service has been installed at the Fair, which will open to the public from today until Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm, and in the afternoon, from 5 pm to 8 pm;
activity promoted by the professionals of the Nefer Center School of Hairdressing and Aesthetics.
Also, a free photo booth has been enabled.
In addition, this Saturday activities for the whole family will be held, with workshops on juggling games and fantasy children's makeup, among others.
The activities will take place in a specific area for children's games, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm.
More than 300 businesses are part of the Federation
Currently, the Murcia Commercial Area Federation, whose president is Santiago Vera, who this morning attended the opening of the first Fair of Discounts, has more than 300 associated stores.
Specifically, 22 businesses from different fields, such as jewelry, optics and fashion, have joined the first edition of this event, from three associations that belong to the Federation, which are the Association of Merchants El Triángulo de Murcia, the Association of Merchants of Vistalegre-Belén and the Association of Silver and Trapery Traders.
