Half a million euros of investment until the third quarter
It has also been informed of the investments made until the third quarter, where a figure close to half a million euros has already been reached, highlighting those made in the meat complex, with new equipment and cold facilities, as well as those made in the pavilions of fruits and vegetables with new skylight and cold stores.
95% occupancy
It should be noted, in the hiring chapter, that those carried out in the area called Multipurpose III and Fish Market have meant increasing up to more than 95% occupancy throughout the Food Distribution Logistics Distribution Center of Mercamurcia.
Specifically, in this Pavilion, with the new hires, there will be about 1,700 m² of cold storage for distribution of fruits and vegetables and more than 400 m2 of cold and frozen for fish and seafood.
Agreements with the Food Bank and Abandoned Jesus
The proposal for the signing of two collaboration agreements with two entities of great social importance in our Region has also been submitted to the Council: the Food Bank of Segura and the Abandoned Jesus Foundation Foundation.
With these collaboration agreements in the development of actions regarding the promotion of coexistence and social cohesion, Mercamurcia is enhanced as a benchmark in social sustainability, with the aim of generating positive impacts on people's lives.
New customer and employee portal
Mercamurcia has presented to the Board its new Annual Report format, a new corporate video and the redesign of the website, in which a Mercamurcia customer portal and an employee portal have been launched.
