The document is being developed in collaboration with the CSR Chair of the University of Murcia, will be finalized in June 2020 and will be an example of good practice in Europe.
A total of 141 indicators will be published that will raise awareness of the ethical and CSR approach, economic-financial information, social and contracting aspects, environment and sustainability.
The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, presided today the Board of Spokespersons, a meeting in which the project 'Murcia Responsible City' was approached, whereby the City of Murcia will become the first in Spain to have a strategy of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) based on transparency.
The document in which the Consistory has begun to work, in collaboration with the CSR Chair of the University of Murcia, "will be completed in June 2020, will be a pioneer in our country and will serve as an example of good practices in Europe" , said the Councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé.
More than 140 indicators
In order to increase the welfare levels of Murcia and the care of the city, as well as to account for all the effects of their daily activity on, a total of 141 indicators will be published.
Specifically, the level of CSR of the City of Murcia will be reflected in four blocks, which are ethical and CSR approach (composed of 36 indicators), economic-financial information (31 indicators, social and contracting aspects (35 indicators), medium environment and sustainability (39 indicators).
In addition, the process will culminate with the preparation, publication and presentation of the CSR report of the City of Murcia of the year 2019.
