The Department of Commerce, Markets and Public Road, in collaboration with Sombra IX European Fantastic Film Festival of Murcia, proposes for Thursday a special Halloween program in the municipal supply squares with live swing bands, performances and makeup.

The responsible councilor, Juan Fernando Hernández, stressed that "the idea is to boost and energize trade in the food markets on the eve of All Saints, making them more attractive to all audiences, with live music and various characterizations for more daring.

The performances will take place in the supply squares of Cabezo de Torres (11: 00h), Vistabella (12:30 h), Verónica (13:30 h) and Saavedra Fajardo (14:00 h).

The activities will include a swing performance and live music from The Market Square Band, The Abastos and The Marching Swing Band.

At the end of the day, the short film "Alicia", by Daniel M. Caneiro, will be screened at 7:00 pm at the Francisco Rabal Regional Film Library, recognized as a director promise at the 2017 Blood Red Carpet of the International Fantastic Film Festival of Sitges
