Tram of Murcia along with the Department of Sustainable Mobility and Youth will carry out a plan of horizontal signage at the stops in order to increase universal accessibility and information with users.
This signaling aims to facilitate access and exit for people with reduced mobility, people in wheelchairs or carrying baby carriages or bicycles, indicating which tram doors are the most suitable for access to the vehicle quickly and safely .
In addition, the area that must not be exceeded by any user has been signaled to ensure their safety when they are waiting for the tram to arrive at the stop, with a striking red stripe that stands out on the pavement and warns of the overcoming of the safe area .
After having made a first test signaling at the Los Rectores - Terra Natura stop and verified the good acceptance by our users, they will continue signaling the busiest stops on the line, thus increasing the information and accessibility of informative elements that already have Tram of Murcia, both at the stops and inside the vehicles.
In this order the signage will be renewed at the stops of Plaza Circular, Spanish Marina, Juan Carlos I, Regional Library, Infantas, Nueva Condomina, UCAM and those of the university ring: Social Center, General Library and University Residence.
