The company's Sustainable Development report includes an investment in R & D & I of more than 956,000 euros.
The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, today chaired the Board of Directors of Aguas de Murcia, in which he realized the execution of the Plan of Actions of the Company 2018/2020.
Specifically, 58.9% of the projects included in this Plan are executed or in execution, for a total amount of 7.25 million euros, which represents 41.7% of the total amount.
Of the actions contemplated in the Plan, the 74 projects corresponding to actions in the districts of the municipality of Murcia stand out, for an amount of 11.02 million euros.
Likewise, the Plan includes 12 projects and works in the city of Murcia, for an amount of 1.65 million euros.
A total of 60 operational actions must also be counted for the provision of the service for an amount of 4.72 million euros.
On the other hand, the company's 2018 Sustainable Development report includes an investment in Innovation, Development and Research of more than 956,000 euros in 60 projects.
Streamline the work of the West Interceptor
The Board also realized that in compliance with what was agreed in the previous Council, the letter addressed to the Undersecretary of Development demanding the execution of the work of the West Interceptor of rainwater to avoid the floods that occur due to the overflow of the Ramblas of Churra and Espinardo.
