The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Huerta, Rebeca Pérez, has attended this morning to the woodland plantation at the El Bollo de Torreagüera, a performance organized by the Bicihuerta de la Pedería association.
This action, carried out in collaboration with the volunteer program of protected natural areas under the General Directorate of Natural Environment within the 'Miravete SOS' project, complements those already carried out in previous years, such as cleaning the mountain and other reforestation.
More than fifty volunteers, to which an environmental brigade has joined, have planted more than 150 trees during the day, also monitoring the existing young plants.
Councilwoman Rebeca Pérez, has indicated that "with activities like this, in addition to repopulating natural spaces of the municipality, we seek to raise awareness among young people in the care and respect of the environment."
