Last night the new Municipal Boards of four districts were formed.
Thus, Francisco López Ayllón was appointed last night president of the Municipal Board of El Puntal, in an act chaired by the Councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro.
José Hoyos is the president of the Municipal Board of La Arboleja.
The act was chaired by the Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén.
The Municipal Board of Casillas is chaired by Serafín Muñoz García.
The councilor of Pedanías y Barrios, Marco Antonio Fernández, presided over the constitution of this meeting.
Finally, Marina Navarro was appointed president of the Municipal Board of Los Ramos, in an act chaired by the Councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé.
Next Monday, the Municipal Boards of Javalí Nuevo, Javalí Viejo, El Raal and Distrito Norte will be established.
In this way, the City Council continues with the process of constitution of the 67 municipal boards (including the pedigrees of La Murta and Cañada Hermosa) under the Department of Pedanías and Barrios, which is directed by Marco Antonio Fernández Esteban.
In total 587 people will be part of the municipal boards of these bodies whose main functions are the maintenance, conservation, repair and replacement of infrastructure and municipal buildings.
They also have the powers of promotion and dissemination of sports, social and cultural activities, as well as serve as transmitters of information between the town hall and the neighbors.
