The UMU Chair - ASISA Foundation of Communication celebrates this Friday, October 25, the course 'Communication in the attention to grief' that, through three talks and case studies, will address the processes before the loss of a loved one from different perspectives .

The speaker of the course is the psychologist specializing in grief Sara Losantos, responsible for the area of Duel Psychology of the Mario Losantos del Campo Foundation.
He will give three lectures in which he will talk about the different theories about grief;

and intervention in the face of loss.

The course will be held from 4 pm in the Assembly Hall of the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery of the Region of Murcia (Plaza Preciosa, s / n. Archaeological Museum Building).
This training affects knowing and recognizing the feelings and emotions of the patient and their families: active empathy and how to accompany with verbal and nonverbal communication.
The Mario Losantos del Campo Foundation handles figures that indicate that each death can affect an average of 20 people (family, friends, environment ...) and that about 10% of the mourners will go through a complicated duel, which can bring severe implications for physical and psychological health.
