The Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Murcia hosts this Friday, October 25, an informative day on the new European instrument for financing innovation in the European Union, the European Innovation Council (EIC) Pathfinder Pilot.
The day will take place from 11.30 am in the room of degrees of the Faculty of Informatics.
The Pathfinder Pilot EIC is composed of the FET-Open and FET-Proactive modalities and offers grants of up to 4 million euros to promote interdisciplinary and collaborative research and innovation on radically innovative and science-inspired future technologies.
The pilot project of the Pathfinder EIC has a total budget of around 660 million euros for the period 2019-2020.
On this occasion, the event will be attended by Borja Izquierdo, National Contact Point, which will be presented by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and its role in the future 'Horizon Europe' Framework Program.
The novelties of the FET Work Program 2019-2020 will also be presented and recommendations will be provided for the presentation of competitive proposals.
This conference is organized by the Office of European and International Projects of the University of Murcia (OPERUM) and has the co-financing of the ERDF Operational Program of the Region of Murcia 2014-2020 and the General Directorate of Universities and Research of the Region of Murcia, Line of Action 2: 'Advice, search for partners and financing of international R&D projects'.
