The PSOE of Puente Tocinos has denounced that the Plaza Región Murciana de Puente Tocinos, located in the center of the town and adjacent to the La Torre Sports Center, has become the epicenter of the vandalism of the district.

Dozens of people, many of them minors, concentrate on the place to make a "bottle", which in the last month has ended with the burning on two occasions of all garbage containers.

"The neighborhood is frightened, has stopped walking when it gets dark as usual, and they do not even dare to take their pets to the canine recreation park located in the area. They claim that in addition to drinking, the garden has become a place of 'drug trapping', and sometimes some individual has 'invited' them to leave the area, "explain socialist sources of the district.

The meetings can be crowded on holidays or weekends, in which the concentration is accompanied by music that does not allow you to fall asleep to the neighbors until 3 or 4 in the morning.

Some claim to have seen people climb to the roof of the sports center or jump the fence and smash the glass bottles against the grass of the soccer field, where matches are held the next day.

The garden dawns many days full of dirt, which is only cleaned by municipal services on their due days.

But the height of this unfortunate situation has occurred this month, as sporadic container fires, even of a car, have become the usual target of these groups.

Thus, in less than a month the four containers grouped in the Plaza have been set on fire twice, with serious danger for vehicles parked nearby and for neighbors who have felt fear and even suffocation symptoms due to the proximity of their homes.

As usual, neighbors often call 112 to put an end to these uncivil, even violent, attitudes, but the PSOE of Puente Tocinos recalled that, "it is difficult to have their presence since both the inhabitants of the area and the groups Vandal, they are aware of the few troops that exist to monitor compliance with the ordinances in districts.
