The musicals Annie, West Side Story, Jekyll & Hyde, the new work of El Brujo and the music of Beethoven, will also be protagonists of the cultural event of the autumn
On Friday 25 and Saturday 26 October, the Teatro Circo Murcia hosts the representation of Gag Movie one of the great shows scheduled for the Cajamurcia Foundation's Big Week, which this year marks its twenty-ninth edition.
With the collaboration of the City of Murcia and the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts of the Region of Murcia (ICA), the Cajamurcia Foundation has also programmed the musicals Annie, West Side Story and Jekyll & Hyde, the work Two tables and a passion, with text and direction by Rafael Álvarez El Brujo, and the Beethoven charity concert, by the Murcia Symphony Orchestra.
Gag Movie is the story of four characters trapped in time and in the narrow confines of a single frame.
A unique troupe of filmmakers breaks into the scene by magic.
They will undertake a fun trip with the spectators for some of the most iconographic moments of the seventh art.
With humor and ingenuity, they will not only show live how the cinema is, but how it is done, how it is lived, and above all, how it is enjoyed.
In this show, for the whole family, the seventh art meets the theater to form together the eighth art, or perhaps the ninth, or the tenth ... who knows.
But whatever the number, it is a fun and vertiginous art that will pass in front of our eyes at more than 300 frames per second.
