The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation aimed at identifying, locating and arresting the perpetrator of a knife attack, which occurred last Saturday, day 19, in the town of Cabezo de Torres, which has resulted in the detention of a person, sister of the victim, to whom the alleged authorship of the crime of attempted murder and denial of relief duty is attributed.
The arrested will be brought to justice soon.
The investigation began when the Civil Guard was alerted by a neighbor of the town of Cabezo de Torres, of the alleged assault on an individual who remained on the injured street.
Citizen Security Prevention troops moved to the site and assisted him next to the emergency medical services that, in view of the wounds he presented, compatible with the use of a white weapon, proceeded to evacuate him to the hospital.
From that moment, the Civil Guard initiated the corresponding investigation that allowed them to know that the suspect, fled the place after committing the aggression, was the victim's brother.
A large police device focused its search on places possibly frequented by it, as well as around another home, located in Murcia, where it could have taken refuge.
On yesterday afternoon, the Benemérita located and detained the suspect as the alleged perpetrator of the attempted murder and denial of relief duty.
This is a male, 44, of Spanish nationality, with a bulky criminal record and brother of the victim.
As a result of the eye inspection carried out in the vicinity of this house, the Civil Guard has seized a knife, allegedly used to commit the aggression.
The arrested, the seized weapon and the errands will be brought to justice soon.
