The Governing Board has given the green light to the list of administrative clauses for contracting the supply of natural gas for heating in 7 public schools in the municipality of Murcia, for an amount of 105,000 euros for a period of 3 years, extendable to two more.

This contract will benefit 7 educational centers as well as future extensions or modifications to the heating boilers that the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia can carry out during the term of the contract.

The centers benefited are the following:

- CEIP Narciso Yepes, Murcia.

- CEIP Infante Juan Manuel, Murcia.

- CEIP City of Murcia, Murcia.

- CEIP Virgin of Guadalupe, Guadalupe.

- CEIP N.ª S.ª de Belén, Murcia.

- CEIP Carolina Codorniu, Churra.

- CEIP New Schools, El Palmar.

The City of Murcia supplies 40,600 cubic meters of natural gas annually necessary for the operation of the heating facilities of the public schools of the municipality, by hiring specialized companies in the sector.

The winning company will provide the gas supply and provide value-added services aimed at optimizing consumption.

Natural gas is an ecological and economical alternative fuel that allows comfortable and homogeneous heating.
