District Fleet-Vistalegre and the hamlet of Rincón de Beniscornia already have Municipal Board.
Santiago Vera has been appointed president of the Municipal Board of La Flota-Vistalegre, during an act chaired by the councilor of Pedanías y Barrios, Marco Antonio Fernández.
The president of the Municipal Board of Rincón de Beniscornia is Juan José Cano.
He was appointed during a ceremony presided over by the Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Perez.
Tomorrow the constitution of the municipal boards of Jerome and Avileses and La Raya is planned.
In this way, the City Council continues with the process of constitution of the 67 municipal boards (including the pedigrees of La Murta and Cañada Hermosa) under the Department of Pedanías and Barrios, which is directed by Marco Antonio Fernández Esteban.
In total 587 people will be part of the municipal boards of these bodies whose main functions are the maintenance, conservation, repair and replacement of infrastructure and municipal buildings.
They also have the powers of promotion and dissemination of sports, social and cultural activities, as well as serve as transmitters of information between the town hall and the neighbors.
