Within the framework of the University Welcome 2019, a debate on relations and communication is proposed through the film 'Before dawn', with the presence of the journalism researcher and professor of the University of Murcia (UMU) Leonarda García -Jiménez.
On October 17, at 18h, in the Antonio Soler Classroom of the Merced Campus, the first film forum of the course is organized, organized by the Unit of Scientific Culture and Innovation of the University of Murcia (UCC + I of the UMU ) with the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology - Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
The film chosen is part of the trilogy 'before', directed by director Richard Linklater.
"A tremendously communicative proposal, based on the interaction between the protagonist couple, an intense dialogue that reveals some of the universal fears that appear," according to García-Jiménez.
It is a kind of 'slow' cinema that invites us to think and reflect on the day to day of our own relationships.
'Before dawn', the first film in the trilogy, is a tribute to the love of youth, based on empathy and deep connection, which invites us to think and analyze the importance of communication in our relationship with others.
This activity aims to bring scientific culture closer to society.
Admission is free and to register it is necessary to send a mail with name and surname to ucc@um.es.
