The distributors that operate through the app have a free additional insurance

Uber Eats, the Uber food delivery app, arrives today in Murcia, Alcantarilla and Molina de Segura.

Starting at 12:00 p.m. in the morning, users will be able to enjoy their favorite food at home, in the office or anywhere in these locations by downloading the app or through ubereats.com.

"We are very happy to announce our arrival in Murcia with Uber Eats, a new practical and simple option to order food at home. With Uber Eats, the user can customize his application to his liking and know at all times where his order is, that it will arrive in about 30 minutes on average ", explains Marta Anadón, Director of Uber Eats in Spain.

With more than 65 restaurants available during its launch phase, Uber Eats in Murcia has local establishments of reference such as Urban Burrito Bar, Stake Burger, The Mandarin and Mondo Italiano, but also with large restaurant chains such as McDonald's, KFC and Pomodoro.

The service is available from Monday to Friday, from 12 a.m. to 5 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.

From Saturday to Sunday, from 12 a.m. to 11.45 p.m.

At Uber Eats, there is no minimum order and, the shipping cost will be € 2.5 on all orders at any time of the day.

Thanks to the collaboration with AXA Corporate Solutions, since January of this year, all distributors operating through Uber Eats in Spain -and including those in Murcia-, Belgium, Italy, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland and the United Kingdom They have free insurance with coverage for personal accidents, cash provision in case of hospitalization and coverage of personal or material damages to third parties.

An app in global expansion

The Uber Eats app learns and improves through the use of the user, in addition to recommending restaurants based on their tastes and preferences.

The user can also consult the valuation that other users make of the various restaurants and filter the options according to the type of cuisine, the price range or the estimated delivery time.

Uber Eats collaborates with more than 220,000 restaurants and operates in more than 500 cities in 36 countries on six continents.
