The Book Fair of Murcia, which this year has celebrated its second edition, concludes with a very positive balance.
A total of 62,000 people have visited this literary event that took place on Alfonso X Avenue from October 2 to 6.
This event has had 43 booths and 38 exhibitors from all over Spain, ten more than in its previous edition.
According to the results, a total of 16,200 books have been sold.
The children have also enjoyed the fair, reaching 720 attendees at the workshops.
In short, “it has been five days of cultural events, including exhibitions, recitals, book signings, colloquiums, round tables and workshops for the whole family that have filled one of the city's main arteries with life, bringing the culture closer to our citizens â€, highlights Mercedes Bernabé, Councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government.
The Book Fair has been organized by the City of Murcia, through the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government, in collaboration with the Palin association and the Ministry of Education and Culture.
“With the results obtained we can say that this cultural event has already been consolidated in our city.
Alfonso X Avenue has thus become a space dedicated to reading, a place of transit and meeting for relevant authors from both the regional and national scene, â€highlights the Councilor for Urban Agenda.
