The government board has approved today the call, selection and subsequent temporary employment of staff for the improvement of various gardens and green spaces. The generation of employment through the hiring of unemployed people to address reform and conditioning work is something that the corporation has already been doing in other projects such as the renovation of various green areas in the Infante neighborhood, in Puente Tocinos, La Alberca, Llano de Brujas, Sangonera la Verde, El Palmar and Santa Cruz, among others.
The City Council, through the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, directed by José Guillén, will remodel six gardens of the municipality, both in the city of Murcia and in districts.
Thus, the Governing Board has approved today the call for selection and subsequent temporary employment of various staff for the implementation of the reform project in several green spaces.
A total of twelve workers (one draftsman, five mason officers, three gardeners, two locksmiths and a carpenter) will be responsible for the reforms in the green areas, playgrounds and flower beds of the city of Murcia and its districts.
Specifically, among the works, gardening works will be carried out, such as grafts, pruning, transplants, plantations, reseeding, as well as repair of meadows and irrigation reform.
Fences and rubber floor will be placed in children's games, furniture assembly, repair of tree beds, as well as other carpentry and locksmith work.
In short, the City Council continues with its policies to generate employment while improving our green areas, the environment and by extension the quality of life in our city through this project of conditioning various actions in municipal gardens located in the urban area (Garden of Science, Barrio del Carmen, Barrio del Infante and Avenida Juan Ramón Jiménez) and in the districts of Espinardo (Jardín Futura Joven) and Torreagüera (garden of San Javier Avenue).
These renovation and conditioning works have also been carried out in the Plaza Pintor Rosique Garden and San Juan de la Cruz Avenue, in the Infante neighborhood, in Murcia
The following works also stand out: in the Aljada garden of Puente Tocinos;
in the Sericícola garden of La Alberca;
in the garden Las Rejas de Sangonera la Verde;
in the garden located between Pintor Pedro Cano Avenue and Greco Street in El Palmar;
as well as the green areas of the Plaza of the Municipal Center of Llano de Brujas and Santa Cruz.
