For the first time, the City Council has commemorated the National Holiday Day with this institutional act, in compliance with the motion passed in plenary on September 26.

The roundabout has hosted this morning the raising of the national flag, an event organized by the City of Murcia to celebrate the National Holiday Day.
“The flag is a symbol that recognizes the footprint of our ancestors, our brilliant history and our projection into the future.
And it is beautiful that life has symbols that remind us of all the good we did and that inspire us all the good we will do, â€said the mayor of Murcia, who added that“ the flag is a loyal symbol of history written among all †.
The City Council approved the celebration of this institutional act in plenary on September 26, in a motion that established the commemoration of the National Party with the raising of the flag.
In addition, tomorrow Saturday afternoon the facade of the Moneo building will be illuminated with the colors of the national team.
In the act the sections of the Traffic sector, SEPRONA, Public Safety and an Honors Company participated, as well as the Band of the Regiment of the Marine Corps of Cartagena.
The event was attended by members of the Municipal Corporation, members of the Local Police of Murcia, National Police and the Civil Guard, who previously celebrated in the Belluga Square their traditional delivery of decorations on the occasion of the feast of the Virgen del Pilar, the Patroness of this body.
